When your download link opens select 'Save' to put the map sample on your hard drive
You can then open the map sample in Google Earth by double clicking on the map's kmz file name and your sample will appear in Google Earth as a transparent overlay.
In Garmin Basecamp bring the map kmz file into ‘My Collection’ then 'Select' the map it will be displayed as a solid map over the Garmin base map.
